A group from Uckfield Concert Brass welcomed visitors to the town’s magnificent Festival of Trees on 3 December 2016.

The annual event at Holy Cross Church has become famous across this part of Sussex. The church is filled for a weekend with decorated Christmas Trees contributed by organisations and residents. The band played a selection of carols and Christmas music during the afternoon and enjoyed a break with mulled wine, provided by Holy Cross.

The church said:

“It was truly wonderful to have members of Uckfield Concert Brass playing carols and Christmas music outside the church yesterday… what a warm welcome this gave to visitors of the Festival, and with our beautiful Nativity scene as the backdrop it made for a very festive afternoon at Holy Cross!”
