UCB’s Simon runs for the Rocking Horse appeal

Uckfield Concert Brass cornet player, Simon Kahn, ran the Brighton Half Marathon in aid of a Sussex children’s charity.

Simon, who plays 2nd cornet with the band, raised money for the Rocking Horse Appeal, the fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton.

In December 2015, Simon and other members of Uckfield Concert Brass dressed in father Christmas costumes for the charity’s annual Santa Dash.

Simon said he was pleased with his finishing time of 1:51:57
