Uckfield Concert Brass has joined forces with the town’s rugby club and bonfire & carnival society to organise a Picnic Proms Spectacular with fireworks.
The event, on Sunday 15 July, is the grand finale of the ever-popular Uckfield Festival.
The programme includes Prom night favourites Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory and Rule Britannia, all featuring mezzo soprano, Niki Ihnatowicz.
It ends with the band’s performance of Tchaikovsky’s thrilling 1812 Overture accompanied by fireworks.
There will also be performances from Deb’s Dancers and the choir from Harland’s Primary School.
Other attractions include a bouncy castle, food and drink stalls and the Grand Festival Draw.
The event is at Uckfield Rugby Club, Hempstead Playing Fields, Nevill Road, Uckfield TN22 1LX. It begins at 7pm and there is plenty of parking.
