UCB to mark 100 year anniversary of the armistice

Uckfield Concert Brass is taking part in a special concert to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1.

Uckfield Remembers, on Saturday 10 November 2018, features a performance by the band and Uckfield Choral Society of the mass The Armed Man, by Karl Jenkins.

The band will also play selection of wartime music, including Hymn to the Fallen, by John Williams, and an arrangement that combines the hymn The Day Thou Gavest Lord Is Ended and Edward Elgar’s Nimrod.

The programme additionally features the Uckfield Singers and Rocks Park School.

The concert is at Holy Cross Church, Belmont Rd, Uckfield TN22 1BP, starting at 7pm.
