Congratulations to UCB cornet player, Simon Kahn, who completed the London Marathon today.
His finish time was just under four hours. He posted on his Facebook page:
“Finished! Just beat 4 hours on chip time. Quite tired and stiff!”
This was Simon’s first marathon for 30 years.
Before the race, he posted:
“Nervous! Elites have started, our gate isn’t open yet.”
Simon was running for the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, the fundraising branch of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton. It works to improve healthcare services for sick children and babies, raising money for items from toys to life-saving equipment.
