UCB played the main stage at Elderflower Fields, Sussex’s family music festival, over the bank holiday weekend.
The event, at the Pippingford estate, near Nutley, attracted several thousand visitors and gave the band its closest taste so far of rock stardom.
The band’s set, including Paul Simon’s Bridge over troubled water, and Michael Buble’s Sway, got festival-goers dancing in front of the stage.
But it was the final number, Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, that got the biggest applause.
Thanks to our friends who joined us for the festival and to Elderflower Fields for the splendid picnic.
UCB’s next festival performance is at Uckfest on Saturday 13 July 2019 for the Picnic Prom with Fireworks at Uckfield Rugby Club. Details.
