Members of Uckfield Concert Brass marked the 75th anniversary of VE Day by playing the Last Post across Sussex.

Because of the Covid-19 restrictions, they performed on doorsteps, in gardens, churchyards and for their neighbours.

The nationwide tribute was at 3pm, the time on May 8 1945 when Winston Churchill announced that the war in Europe was over.
