Spreading a little happiness

Uckfield Concert Brass published its second lockdown video today – Spread A Little Happiness.

Band members recorded their parts in living rooms, gardens, sheds, on the beach and on the downs.

Bb bass player Beatrice Gullick then produced this composite video. We hope you like it.

The song was written by Vivian Ellis and Clifford Grey for their 1929 musical Mr Cinders. It was covered by Sting for the soundtrack of the film, Brimstone and Treacle, in 1982.
