Uckfield Concert Brass is repeating its successful special concert for friends and neighbours.

The informal event later this month is at the Alma Arms, Framfield Road, Uckfield, where the band rehearses.

UCB welcomed local people to the first neighbours’ concert in 2019. A similar event, planned last year, was cancelled because of the Covid outbreak.

At this year’s concert, players will unveil a bench in memory of much-loved flugel horn, Andy Bamford, who died in December 2020.

Anyone is welcome to drop-in to hear a selection from the band’s entertaining repertoire.

The concert is on Tuesday 24 August from 8pm-9pm in the pub’s beer garden.
