Uckfield Concert Brass brought the 2021 Eastbourne bandstand season to a close with the final fireworks concert of the year.
Despite a chilly evening, the enthusiastic audience enjoyed a mixture of classics, pop and Proms favourites.
The programme opened with the Grand March for Verdi’s Aida and included What A Wonderful World with Neal Bland on flugel, the trombone trio It’s All Right With Me, Jimmy Webb’s Wichita Lineman, Michael Buble’s Sway and the theme from Superman.
The concert ended traditionally with the Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1, Rule Britannia and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 overture, accompanied by fireworks.
