Uckfield’s Proms on the Pitch saw a record-breaking crowd enjoy entertainment from leading local musicians.

The line-up featured Last Night of the Proms favourites from Uckfield Concert Brass and soprano Jo Appleby, followed by spectacular fiereworks.

For the first year, The Fabulous Red Diesel brought jazz to the Proms stage. They joined Brighton trio, The Flat Pack, Uckfield’s Cantando signers, Holy Cross children’s choir and Uckfield Theatre Guild.

The raffle raised more than £400, to be donated to the UN Disasters Emergency Committee fund for Ukraine.

The event was organised by Uckfield Concert Brass, Uckfield Rugby Football Club and Uckfield Carnival and Bonfire Society.
