Uckfield Concert Brass is sad to have to announce the passing of former Chairman and Solo Trombone, Peter Cowlett.

Peter was a member of Horsham Borough Band, Sussex Symphony Orchestra and Harvey’s Brass.  He was a former member of LGB Brass and also ran a trombone group from UCB’s base in Uckfield.

Peter was also an accomplished pianist and organist. He also composed and arranged pieces for band.

Our thoughts are with his Fiancée Kelly, and children Jonathan, Chrissie and Victoria as well as the many close friends that Peter had in the banding and orchestral world.
