UCB brings Christmas to Uckfield

In the run-up to Christmas 2021, UCB was delighted to bring festive music to the streets of Uckfield.

The band played carols for the switch-on of Holy Cross’s Christmas tree and for town’s Late Night Shopping event.

Players also performed Christmas favourites at Bridge Cottage market, Holy Cross Festival of Trees (where the band had a tree) and at Copper Beach Care Home. We were delighted to discover that the home’s events organiser had a special love of brass bands – her father, Tony Barton, was a former conductor of Uckfield band.
