Beacon lighting
UCB was proud to be part of Uckfield’s celebrations to mark the Queen’s platinum jubilee on Thursday 2 June.
The band entertained a large crowd at the town’s Victoria Park before the lighting of the beacon.
Principal cornet, Dean Pelling, played the specially-written fanfare.
The full band, joined by Uckfield Singers, Cantando and members of the audience, performed A life lived with grace, a piece commissioned for the jubilee and sung throughout the world.
