Rain failed to stop playing
Heavy rain kept big crowds away from UCB’s bandstand concert in Eastbourne on Wednesday but the band played on and a small brave audience stayed until the end.
The concert included highlights from the band’s 2023 repertoire, including Great Western Themes, Cry Me A River with soloist Claire Nichols, You’ll Never Walk Alone, Rag’n’Bone Man’s Human and Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. The programme ended, as usual, with fireworks and the 1812 Overture.
