Countdown to Uckfield Proms on the Pitch

Proms on the Pitch on Saturday 15 July 2023 is now in its fifth year and promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The event, at Uckfield Rugby Club, features leading local performers and a spectacular Proms Night finale with fireworks.

It is organised by Uckfield Concert Brass, Uckfield Rugby Football Club and Uckfield Bonfire and Carnival Society.

Advance tickets are on sale online from uckfieldrugby.uk/event/proms-on-the-pitch/ at £12.50. Entry on the day will be £15.

Uckfield Concert Brass is proud to headline the event and lead the traditional Proms programme, including Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem and Rule Britannia.

The band will be joined by soprano Jo Appleby, who has toured the world with some of the biggest names in music and entertainment.

Also returning to the event are Brighton-based vocal harmony trio, The Flat Pack, with its tribute to swing music, and the Sussex jazz fusion group, The Fabulous Red Diesel, fresh from Ronnie Scott’s. The programme also features Uckfield Theatre Guild and Holy Cross Church children’s choir.
