Pictures from Uckfield Prom: the show went on!
Saturday’s stormy weather forced Uckfield’s annual prom concert inside. But the show went on with a great programme and a brilliant audience.
The event, due to be held at Uckfield Rugby Club, moved to Holy Cross Church when the forecast of strong winds meant the stage could not be put up and the planned fireworks had to be cancelled.
But the audience still enjoyed performances from Uckfield Concert Brass, soprano Jo Appleby, Holy Cross Children’s Choir and Uckfield Theatre Guild.
Thanks to friends who helped out the band and to everyone who contributed to the rearrangements.
